Santa Ana, CA. June 2, 2008 – CVD, announced today, that they have signed an agreement with IBM to become a Business Partner for IBM’s POS kiosk solutions. This partnership is a natural transition for CVD, who has been providing digital display and kiosk solutions for over 10 years.

CVD will integrate IBM POS hardware solutions into CVD designed kiosks reflecting the demand and evolving convergence of the Kiosk, Digital Signage and Point of Sale markets.  

CVD’s  S-Series line of kiosks targets POS resellers and  Distributors.  The S-Series kiosks utilize a basic stand to accompany IBM’s POS all-in-one computer system.  It is a cost effective design with a variety of customization options for the reseller. 

This is CVD’s first offering created for mass distribution through the Point of Sale Channel. The S-Series is positioned as the entry level offering as part of an evolving family of products to be developed for major point of sale hardware providers.

It is estimated that more than 10,000 point of sale resellers exist in the United States purchasing through major wholesales distributors.
