June 29, 2007 - CVD, a Premier Solution Provider to the Digital Display Market, announced today that they have acquired an equity position in ACS, Inc., headquartered in Santa Ana, California.  ACS, best known for their innovative paint-dispensing self-service kiosk, brings their materials engineering expertise and position in the home improvement market to join forces with CVD, a leader in Customized Kiosk Design Solutions.   

Together, CVD and ACS will offer an interactive paint-dispensing kiosk that works like a vending machine, dispensing paint into a container that works as the applicator. Using an interactive, touchscreen interface, customers will be able to create and/or select any paint color and take a sample applicator home to test in their unique environment. “Leveraging CVD’s physical infrastructure and organization, we will provide procurement, manufacturing, installation, warranty/repair and help desk services that are critical to the success of large-scale kiosk implementations.
