Santa Ana, Calif., October 2006 – CVD and MedeaWiz team up to develop customized digital advertising kiosk technology that is positioned in Best Buy's nationwide chain of stores. CVD worked with Verizon Wireless to design the Kiosk based on their end-cap requirements for Best Buy to help market Verizon Wireless's VCAST services. Through customer marketing awareness, Verizon Wireless requested custom firmware that MedeaWiz and CVD collaborated on and delivered uniquely for the Best Buy retail environment. The end result is a custom player that provides constant advertising audio, while allowing customers to interact with the kiosk and reset to the beginning of the advertising loop at the touch of a button.
